Structure and composition:
Vitamin B6 is a generic term for pyridoxine, because the substances containing vitamin B6 activity are pyridoxine, but those with this function have three chemical forms:
● pyridoxol
● pyridoxal
● pyridoxamine
The molecular formula is:

● pyridoxal (R=CHO)
