Sources of Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is mainly derived from the body's own synthesis and exogenous supplementation. In general coenzyme Q10 can be synthesized by the body itself. It does not have to depend on exogenous supplementation. However, in some cases endogenous biosynthesis is reduced and exogenous supplementation is required. Examples include aging, statin use, and some pathophysiologic states.

 

Coenzyme Q10 is a fat-soluble antioxidant that humans can synthesize themselves. The body synthesizes coenzyme Q10 from tyrosine or phenylalanine and mevalonate.Although it can be synthesized in the body, the process requires the involvement of a number of different vitamins as cofactors. These include vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, and vitamin C. Deficiencies in these nutrients will result in insufficient coenzyme Q10 synthesis in the body. Although the body can synthesize Coenzyme Q10 oil. The body produces less coenzyme Q10 as we age, or with the onset of various metabolic autoimmune system diseases.

Factors affecting the absorption of Coenzyme Q10

Manufacturing Process

Coenzyme Q10 molecule is a polycrystalline crystal molecule. It is not easily absorbed by the human body. Its bioabsorption and utilization can be effectively improved by different production processes.
