Processing Steps:

The production process of Freeze-dried Apple Powder is as follows.

Select disease-free, non-rotten apples. After cleaning and sterilization, remove the peel, stem, and core, either mechanically or manually.

Cut the apples into slices or fan-shaped pieces.

Color preservation: Soak the sliced apples in a 10% sugar water solution for 20 minutes.

Tray spreading: Remove the apple slices and evenly spread them on the tray.

Push the tray into the freeze-drying room. Start the condensation system 1 hour before feeding to ensure it runs properly. The temperature of the circulating refrigerant should reach below -30°C. Start the vacuum pump and reduce the pressure to below 133.3Pa within 30 minutes. Then, freeze the material.

Turn on the heating system and heat according to the set temperature (as shown in Table 2). When the curves stabilize, the drying process is complete, which takes about 14 hours. The finished fruit should have a moisture content below 5%.
