This method describes a streamlined process to simultaneously extract indole-3-methanol and Raw DIM from the edible organs of cruciferous vegetables. The procedure is designed to be efficient, reproducible, and suitable for industrial-scale applications.
Step-by-Step Extraction Process:
Preparation of Fresh Samples
- Select fresh edible organs of cruciferous vegetables (such as broccoli, cabbage, kale, or Brussels sprouts).
- Crush the fresh vegetable samples thoroughly to break down the tissue structure, facilitating subsequent extraction.
- Dry Sample Preparation via Freeze-Drying
