● Solution preparation

1. Preparation of reference solution Weigh accurately about 4-5mg of urushiin reference solution into a 50mL volumetric flask and dissolve it with methanol to volume.

2. Preparation of sample solution Weigh accurately 4mg - 5mg of sample (content about 98%) into a 50mL volumetric flask, add about 50mL of methanol, dissolve it by ultrasonic oscillation for 30min, cool to room temperature, and use methanol to volume to the scale, and use 0.45 μ M microporous membrane filtration, namely.

● Sample determination

Under the above chromatographic conditions, after the instrument is stable and the baseline is stable, the sample is injected for determination. The retention time of urushidin is about 20 minutes, and the content is calculated.

Manually remove the solvent peak before 4 minutes (the impact peak caused by the inconsistency between the mobile phase and the sample solvent), the minimum peak area shows more than 10, and the total retention time is 25 minutes. Check the peak area percentage of urushidin in the peak result table to obtain the area conversion content.

Studies have shown that fexerone has the ability to scavenge free radicals that have significant biological effects. These oxygen radicals damage lipids, amino acids, carbohydrates and nucleic acids.

When we do not consume enough antioxidant foods, an imbalance of oxygen species occurs, which inhibits the body's ability to defend itself.

● Anti-aging activity

Research published in The Lancet found that fexerone, a flavonoid, has potent anti-aging activity in both mice and human tissue. This means that the antioxidant could prevent the replication of damaged DNA and thus may play a role in aging and age-related diseases. When researchers tested 10 flavonoids (including resveratrol, rutin, lignans, curcumin and fexerone), they found that fexerone was the most effective anti-aging drug.
