1.Chromatographic conditions

2.Solution preparation

a. Preparation of reference solution: accurately weigh the appropriate amount of sennoside A and sennoside B reference solution, add methanol to dissolve and prepare the reference solution of about 0.25mg per 1mL of sennoside A and sennoside B respectively.

b. Preparation of sample solution Weigh accurately about 20mg of senna extract sample, put it into a 25mL volumetric flask, add methanol and shake it for 30min, cool it to room temperature, fix the volume with methanol, and use 0.45 μ M microporous membrane filtration.

 

3.Sample determination

Under the above chromatographic conditions, after the instrument is stable and the baseline is stable, the sample is injected for determination. The retention time of sennosides A and B is about 18 and 50 min respectively, and the content is calculated by external standard method.

● Antibacterial effect:
