Extraction Methods:

Guanjie uses a process known as solvent extraction.

During solvent extraction, the plant material is soaked in an alcohol or other solvent, such as ethyl acetate, for a period of time. This allows the solvent to dissolve the desired compounds from the plant material, including the active ingredients of Rhodiola Rosea such as rosavins and salidrosides.

After the soaking process, the liquid is filtered to remove any solid plant materials. The remaining liquid is then evaporated to remove the solvent, leaving behind a concentrated Rhodiola Rosea extract.
