Extraction method
●Solvent method:
In this method, the roots of Ku Shen are washed and chopped into small pieces. They are then soaked in a solvent, such as ethanol, for a period of time to extract the active compounds. The solvent is then evaporated to leave behind a concentrated extract, which is then spray-dried to produce Matrine powder.

● Grinding method:
In this method, the dried roots of Ku Shen are ground into a fine powder using a mortar and pestle or a milling machine. The powder is then sieved to remove any impurities and to ensure a consistent particle size.
● Fermentation method:
In this method, the roots of Ku Shen are fermented using a special strain of bacteria. The fermentation process of Matrine powder breaks down the plant material and releases the active compounds. The fermented mixture is then dried and ground into a powder.
