Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is produced from L-glutamate under the catalysis of glutamate decarboxylase. A.4.1 Preparation of standard solutions

Accurately weigh 0.05g of gamma-aminobutyric acid standard (accurate to 0.0001 g), dissolve it with water and dilute to 100 mL, filter with a 0.22 μm membrane, and collect the filtrate as the standard solution.

A.4.2 Preparation of sample solutions

Accurately weigh 0.05 g ~ 0.25 g of the pulverized sample (accurate to 0.0001 g), dissolve it with water and dilute to 100 mL, after ultrasonic dissolving, filter it with a 0.22 μm filter membrane, and collect the filtrate as the sample solution to be tested.
