Function

● Organic Rice Bran Extract can inhibit or reduce the specificity of the reproduction of melanocytes. The total number of melanocytes can be reduced from 117±23/mm2 to 39±7/mm2 with 0.1-0.5% ferulic acid aqueous solution.

● Ferulic acid can also inhibit the activity of tryptophanase. The ferulic acid aqueous solution with a concentration of 5 mmol/L can inhibit the enzymatic reaction of tyrosine by 86%. Even if the concentration of ferulic acid solution is only 0.5mmol/L, the inhibition rate of tyrosinase-catalyzed reaction can be about 35%.

● It also has the functions of eliminating oxygen free radicals and excellent anti-oxidation. Ferulic acid has the ability of sunscreen isolation, and ferulic acid can reasonably digest and absorb ultraviolet light in the wavelength range of 290-330 nm, preventing or reducing this effect.
