Production Method:

The preparation methods of bulk ergothioneine powder mainly include 3 kinds of natural product extraction methods, chemical synthesis methods, and biosynthesis methods.

 

• Natural product extraction method

Natural products such as edible fungi, ergot, cereals, and animal tissues contain EGT, among which edible fungi have higher EGT content and are an important source of EGT.
